Initial Thoughts: I have to declare this ticket the early leader in this election for the simple fact that KaLeigh White currently serves as vice president and thus far has done little to prove that voters made a mistake in electing her last spring. I can't recall the last time an incumbent vice president ran for president, but I have to believe that gives this ticket the edge over the other candidates, at least until campaign season is in full swing. Much of the pressure will be on Alicia Jessip, who has been a visible presence on campus through Greek Life and her role as director of diversity and student life. I have questions about her leadership skills, but it'll be interesting to see how she handles herself in the coming weeks in talking to student organizations and in the debate. I like this ticket a lot, but they cannot rest on their laurels, because the other two tickets are not far behind them.
